Jie Zhang

Chinese-born Jie Zhang studied music in Oslo with Leif Ove Andsnes and Håvard Gimse and Marian Migdal in Hamburg. She is considered one of the most promising young pianists in Norway. At the International Grieg Competition in Oslo she won the third prize and the Audience Award. In 2010 she was awarded the Princess Astrid Music Prize.
